This Lamb's Ear sprung up one day near the pond. I had planted some in other beds, but not here. It is now the happiest Lamb's Ear in the garden with a tall spike starting to flower. Ian loves to feel the soft leaves; but I am trying to teach him not to pull them off and throw them in the pond.
Another plant Ian has been antagonizing is my new big "Patio" tomato. He has already plucked three green tomatoes and brings them to me saying, "Apple!"
I don't know if he'll leave any on the plant long enough to actually ripen!

I had such a problem with bugs on my tomatoes last year that I didn't try this year. The creole tomatoes are coming into season here and I can eat them like apples, so Ian is not too far off! Fry those green ones and serve with some remoulade!
