Bryce has been sneaking into the garage often lately and creating a lot of noise. Finally, we see what he's been doing! This is his homemade catapult. It was made from leftover beams from the pergola build, bungee cords (part of his new camping gear), and a sheared off plastic plant holder. 
He tried it out this weekend and managed to send some water balloons a whopping three feet according to his measurements. He can get up to six feet if he does it from up in the tree. We've discussed the physics of it and what modifications he could make to get a little more distance. For now, I think just throwing the water balloons might be the most effecient in battle.
