So we've been working on it for months, not really expecting anything. We just wanted to get him used to the idea and it finally worked. The night of the crawfish boil Kerry and Ian got ready to take a shower and he (Ian) walked over to his potty, sat down, and "made peeps"! Of course, I missed it. Kerry yelled downstairs to me and we all celebrated with hugs, kisses, and chocolate. Yes, Ian is getting chocolate as his potty reward. Nothing happened on Sunday, but on Monday he went again... two times!! Woo hoo! Ok, so during the week we had a lull, but last night he went (by himself) again. 
I think he's like his Papa. If I ask him to do something, he won't; but leave him be and he'll do it on his own. He was so excited about his new "talent". We had just bought him a 3 pack of Nemo undies at the outlet mall on Sunday, so he put on all 3 pair over his diaper and went to sleep with them on. They are size 2's, but are soooo big on him. He has the smallest butt I've ever seen. (He definitely didn't get that from me.)
