The New Trainee
Since Bryce was a little preoccupied with getting ready for camp, he didn't get around to cutting the backyard. Guess who got a lesson in mowing? He was excited about the $5 he'd earn; but found that pushing a lawnmower in a circle around the yard was a little boring at times. In true Max style he had to "go against the grain". Left to his own devices, he proudly showed off the interesting pattern he made in the grass when I had stepped inside. I'm not sure if he fully understood that the cool pattern also meant he'd be going over some areas more than once and was really less efficient. It did seem that overall he was happy with his work, jogging at times, and listening to the bossy two year old following right behind him.
