In the Moonlight
Ever since we transitioned Ian into his "big boy bed" it's been a challenge getting him to actually sleep in it. It has Mater & Lightning McQueen sheets and throw pillows, too-it's cool! But he won't fall asleep on his own it it. Lately, I'll lay with him a bit until he's asleep before I tiptoe off to my room. His bed is just under the window, so I pulled back the curtains and opened the blinds for him to look at the night sky. We're enjoying talking about the moon and the stars. He'll choose the brightest star and say, "That's Ian's star." Looking at the moon so carefully now, Ian has noticed its brightness, too. "That's a moon sun," he has said of the full moon. I'm glad he's appreciating his new view; but I'm even happier that it's working and he's sleeping in his bed.

I like that photo.
How sweet! I'm not ready to put Gabi in a toddler bed. I enjoy having her 'caged' so she cant get out for her safety.
I like the changes! Good job sprucing up the widgets....next to see if I can click on your photos!
