Enrolling Ian for preschool at the church was such a great decision! He goes Mon. & Wed. for four hours a day, plenty of time to spend with his little friends, and he loves it. 
He often turns his back to the other children and their parents to show off his McQueen backpack and, amazingly, he doesn't make a beeline out the room when the door is open. He even sits patiently on a line of masking tape before I come!
Ian's preschool had a wonderful trip to the Austin zoo, much smaller than the Audubon Zoo, but perfect fof two year olds. I don't know what kind of Voodoo magic Mrs. Kim does to keep Ian standing with the group instead of running through the parking lot. She's magical!
A nice picnic in the sunshine is the perfect way to start our field trip...
followed, of course, by a train ride on "Thomas".
The Austin Zoo has the fastest tortoises I've ever seen. Ian thought they were very funny.
Although it was actually a lizard, Ian hissed ferociously and tried to intimidate this reptile.
The hog deer is so much cuter and friendlier than it's name implies.
The beautiful peacocks made a big impression on Ian. He is still calling random birds, "Peacock!"
