Bryce's birthday weekend was a bit crazy. Max had his last gymnastics meet at 8am followed by Bryce's band solo competition and then celebrations to continue at home. Max finally completed his bonus on the pommel (2 1/2 circles on the mushroom) bringing him his highest score on that event to date, a 9.1. 
And Bryce walked away with a Superior (I) rating, the highest given, for his tuba solo. Goooo boys! 
We had a low-key birthday celebration with Mimi & Papa El. Bryce chose a strawberry ice cream cake and passed on the smiles for the camera.
He really enjoyed the freedom of shopping with all his cash and gift cards this year, too! 
For dinner we decided to thoroughly embarass Bryce at the Olive Garden with the Happy Birthday song. Ian happily ate Bryce's dessert.
